Globalize

The new album is complete!  It's called "Globalize", and includes 13 original songs!

Since my first CD “On This Island” was produced in 2005, I figured it was time to capture some of the tunes I’ve written since then.  I am so excited to be working with really fine musicians from Gabriola and Nanaimo, and a wonderful studio to record in with the venerable Rick Salt. Musicians include Brad Shipley, my "co-pilot", on guitars and mandolin, Marisha Devoin on bass and vocals, and Alicia Murray on drums. We played a few gigs together in October and November, and thankfully we were able to complete all the bed tracks live in the studio together before social isolation began.  Then came overdubs from me and others including "Voodoo" Dave McGrath on percussion, Cam MacInnes on slide guitar, Phil Hamelin on trumpet and Dave Lawson on saxophone. Most of these parts were recorded remotely in home studios, and then sent along to Rick so he could do his magic. And magic he did!  Though for many CDs seem to be a thing of the past, we’ve produced some for those that prefer the physical album,  we'll and also provide downloadable album and tracks.  We will include a free download for those who purchase the CD, including extended liner notes, lyric sheets, photos and more.
